I wanted to perform a clean installation of Windows 10 Home, so I used your media creation tool to make a bootable USB and a DVD. However, when I tried to run the installation of Windows using the USB or DVD, I received the following error notice: Windows cannot be installed to the hard disk space. Windows must be installed to a partition formatted in NTFS. How can I fix this?

If you have encountered "Windows must be installed to a partition formatted as NTFS" when installing the Windows system. You may currently use exFAT or FAT32, which is relatively old. The cause of this error is that the Windows system can only support the NTFS file system, and you haven't set your hard drive as NTFS. To successfully install the Windows OS, you need to format your hard drive to NTFS first.
In this case, you need to create a bootable device so that you can access the CMD in WinRE. Sounds complicated? Don't worry. I will introduce all-around and beginner-friendly software to help you simplify the whole procedure. EaseUS Partition Master Professional can apply to create a bootable device and complete the disk formatting process while installing the Windows system.
Stage 1. Create a Bootable USB/CD/DVD
With the assistance of EaseUS Partition Master, you can make a bootable format tool that enables you to run the computer and format the hard disk without OS. Refer to the full guide below:
Stage 2. Convert Hard Drive to NTFS
After the above is done, you will enter the WinPE environment, where you can format your hard drive in EaseUS Partition Master WinPE edition:
Note: Formatting your hard drive will wipe all the data on it and cause data loss. You can move the important data to another external hard drive.
Step 1. Open EaseUS Partition Master and select "Format" from the context menu when you right-click the hard drive partition you want to format.
Step 2. Set the Cluster size, File system (NTFS), and Partition label in the new window before clicking "OK" to format the partition.
Step 3. After that, a warning message will appear. Click "Yes" to proceed. Press "Execute 1 Task(s)" > "Apply" to begin formatting the partition on your hard disk.
