Hello all, I am interested in knowing what cloning software people are using for drive clones. I typically use Macrium and Clonezilla and find them to work well. What is your preferred hard drive cloning software?

My preferred disk cloning software is EaseUS Disk Copy. It works every time while still being booted for Windows to clone a hard drive. EaseUS disk cloning software can clone a mechanical hard disk with bad sectors on it and also let you resize disk partitions when migrating data from one hard drive to another.
As you mentioned, Clonezilla and Macrium Reflect are indeed among the best cloning software with global fame, and we should give them a shout-out.
However, it is worth noting that the Macrium Reflect Free version has been unavailable since 1st January 2024. If you want to clone a hard drive, you have to upgrade to its Home version, which will cost $49.99 per year for a license for one computer, much higher than most backup/cloning software on the market. And you might meet the Macrium Reflect clone failed error when using it to make clones.
Although Clonezilla is a free and open-source hard drive cloning utility, you may encounter the system unbootable after cloning disks or Clonezilla failed to clone bad sectors error. Worse still, it needs to improve its ability to restore images into smaller drives to avoid frustrating errors.
Under such circumstances, I will recommend my go-to hard drive cloning software - EaseUS Disk Copy - to you. It is a dedicated hard disk cloning software for a PC running Windows 11/10/8/7.
As reliable and efficient disk cloning software, it allows you to clone a hard drive for several simple clicks and make a sector-by-sector clone of our hard drive. In addition, it lets you transfer data from one SSD to another without reinstalling Windows or losing data. Here is how to clone a hard drive via EaseUS clone software:
Step 1. To clone a disk to another, select one on your PC as the source disk in "Disk Mode" and tap "Next".
Step 2. Choose another drive connected to your PC as the destination disk.
Step 3. Check the drive layout of the 2 disks by selecting "Autofit the disk", "Copy as the source", or "Edit disk layout".
Step 4. Click "Proceed" to carry out the task.
My go-to hard drive cloning software is EaseUS Disk Copy, which can help clone a hard drive or upgrade your hard disk without any trouble.
