System32 Takes Too Much Space, How to Fix

My 128 GB SSD disk is getting low on space, so I'm looking for several ways to conserve it, such as turning off hibernation and deleting the data from Windows backups. Then, I found that the C:/Windows/System32/config folder is taking up 68,192,0 MB and includes 19,1525 files, which is absolutely not normal. How can I fix it?

Usually, the System32 folder is located at C:\Windows\System32 or C:\Winnt\system32, storing many important system files and folders. Its normal size ranges from 3GB to 5GB and may increase over time. However, if you have too many system restore points, Windows malfunctions, virus infections, or improper system configurations on your Windows computer, it may take up to several hundreds of GBs.

Don't worry. EaseUS Partition Master Professional will come to your rescue with its powerful disk cleanup tool. This program can scan all files and folders on your C drive, and you can also manage or remove useless files. In addition, it supports moving files from the C drive to the D drive.
