I'm stuck on a problem that I feel shouldn't be so hard to crack, but I can't find a good solution for it. I was handed a user's Windows 10 VM. For some reason, the original domain user account got removed from the system a while ago and re-added and - I think for that reason - it has a different SID now.

The $recycle bin folder is a vital hidden folder that is also saved at the root of a specific drive. It is actually an interval between Recycle Bin and each hard drive. It may help when you want to recover unintentionally deleted files. But what if you have deleted the $recycle bin folder? Use EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard for help.
Download this tool and follow the instructions below:
Step 1. Launch EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard. To find lost or deleted files from $recycle bin, hover your pointer over "Recycle Bin" under the "Locations" and select "Scan".
Step 2. Now, the solution will automatically find the files for you. After the scanning process, you can utilize the Filter feature to select a specific file type you want to recover, like Pictures, Word, Videos, and so on.
Step 3. Once you successfully locate the files you want to recover, double-click them to preview. Now, click "Recover" to save the recovered files to a safer location.
As we all know Recycle Bin will keep all your temporarily deleted files or folders. You can restore your files and folders from it once you regret it. You can also empty your Recycle Bin to save space and help your computer run smoothly. But if, once in a while, you have accidentally deleted all your files and empty the Recycle Bin; do not worry, use EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard for help and get your critical data back. Even permanently deleted files can be recovered only if your data is not overwritten.
