I have a gaming PC with an SSD installed. I heard that NVMe has excellent performance, so I want to use it on my computer. Should I upgrade from an SSD to NVMe? Is upgrading from an SSD to an NVMe worth It for gaming?

The short answer is no. NVMe is a type of SSD; the difference is SATA to NVMe.
If you have a SATA III SSD and your drive and chipset are both running the SATA III 3.2 generation (which was released roughly 8 years ago), you are already getting 16 Gbps from your current drive, and switching to NVMe won't make much of a difference.
The drive only impacts a game's performance in terms of load times. It's not like your CPU, GPU, or RAM, where continually running programs affect what happens in games. Only when necessary, such as during game startup, area transitions, or when the game has to (re)load assets, does your game request data from the drive. After that, the drive resumes operations until additional data is requested.
Should you switch from an HDD to an NVMe drive, then? Yes. The distinction between an HDD and NVMe is more apparent than between a SATA and NVMe.
If you want to upgrade an HDD to NVMe SSD, you will need to use professional disk cloning software since such a tool can ensure everything on the NVMe is the same as the HDD. In that case, EaseUS Disk Copy comes to help.
EaseUS Disk Copy is a professional cloning utility that can help you upgrade your HDD to SSD or SSD to SSD. It lets you upgrade HDD to SSD without reinstalling Windows and losing data. In addition, it can help you clone a hard drive with bad sectors and transfer an operating system from one SSD to another. If you want to replace an HDD with an SSD, it can suit you well.
It is not worth upgrading an SSD to NVMe, as NVMe is also an SSD. But if you want to upgrade an HDD to NVMe, it is worth it.
